The final part to our Spring trilogy is the one
we’ve all been waiting for, we welcome one of the most cutting edge artists in
the world of House and Techno today….JAMIE JONES.
JAMIE JONES will now have to get rid of the words 'rising star' that have stuck
in front of his name rather persistently ever since he first started making
serious waves five years ago. Not that the Welsh boy wonder is fading from sight
- far from it , as Jamie is now firmly one of Britain's premier DJs and
producers.
Since his early days spending long summers in Ibiza forging valuable
relationships to running bustling ‘djsscandance’ warehouse parties in east
London and regular gigs at Fabric and the likes, JAMIE is now one of the key
figures in the ongoing new guard of house and techno currently revolutionising
the world’s dancefloors.
In 2009, his release Summertime EP on Crosstown Rebels went on to become the
labels biggest selling single and his Debut album ‘don’t you remember the
future’ also on Rebels was been hailed by many as the best electronic album of
the year.
In 2010, two ridiculously high profile residencies at DC10’s Circo Loco and The
Warehouse Project saw Jamie’s profile and reputation go through the roof plus a
Mixmag cover CD(mixed with Seth Troxler) was deemed one of the best of the year
by many a music industry critic and avid fan alike.
